AIMS & OBJECTIVES

1.       Removal of widespread poverty, inequality, exploitation, injustice, illiteracy, blind-faith, ecological and economical imbalance etc. in the country.

2.       Improvement of the living conditions of the rural people and development of agriculture and agro based allied industries in the country.

3.       Awakening of the social spirit by making the people aware of their rights and duties.

4.       To present the Gandhian model of ideal life and environment before the people.

5.       To give scientific and technical guidance so as to fully utilise irrigation facilities and proper use of water and supply of improved varieties of seeds, fertilizers with special emphasis on organic fertilizers and thereby improve their economic conditions.

6.       To encourage animal husbandry, fisheries development and allied agro based industries.

7.       To run cottage, tiny and small scale industries giving priority based on the locally available resources (raw materials) and take stapes to encourage artisans such as carpenters, tailors, weavers etc. to create employment facilities to eradicate poverty.

8.       To inform the people about the various schemes sponsored by Government, Non-Government and Voluntary Organisations and to help the deserving people to avail of the assistance.

9.       To start or encourage financial activities by starting marketing centres, providing transport facilities for the goods produced by them, to get reasonable price for their produce and, thus, check profiteering, injustice and discourage hoarding.

10.   For eradication of diseases, to provide drinking water, public baths, latrines and toilets and running of health centres and crèches.

11.   To open rural study centres, adult education centres for educating the adults for getting rid of their indifference and seek participation with democratic process.

12.   To prepare full time committed workers for the Society and to open training centres.

13.   To take up social education order to eradicate social wrongs like untouchability, caste discriminations, blind-faith and communalism.

14.   To create social awakening by arranging camps, meetings, stage plays, film shows, exhibitions and by publishing literature.

15.   To make the people aware of the need for maintaining ecological balance by planting trees and to start a mass movement for maintaining cleanliness in the surrounding.

16.   To form an organisation of youth and adults and to prepare public opinion against inequality, injustice, exploitation and to find solution for these problems through non-violent methods.

17.   To raise funds for Society through donations, grants and loans from the Governments, Semi-Governments, Non-Governments agencies and also through technical services and other sources such as sale of literature etc. and to meet the expense on the centres, workers and other activities of Society.

18.   To buy, sale, mortgage or to take on lease property for the institution for fulfilment of the aims and objectives of the Society.

19.   To strive for the development of the national language and other Indian languages and their by achieve national integration.
